Aussie ecosystems is a not for profit organization established by young ecologists and environmental scientists to assist all Australians in gaining knowledge and enjoyment from the beauty and complexity of the Australian bush. Although we can all gain a great deal pleasure from the aesthetic magnificence of Australia’s diverse landscapes, geology, flora and fauna, the purpose of this site is to incite intrigue into the further understanding of natural systems and processes.

In addition to offering inspiration for a lifelong love of Australian environments it is our intention to provide relevant information in order to assist Australians in the appropriate ecological management of their own little piece of our beautiful country. Whether you reside in a rural, coastal or even suburban setting, there are many ways you can interact with nature by contributing to local and regional ecological processes, bringing the wonders of the Australian biota to your back door.
